The Placement Cell of Bhaktavatsalam Memorial College for Women operates as an interface between companies and students and assists in organizing the placement process in a systematic and efficient manner for long-term and mutually beneficial relationship. The college has an active Placement Cell which provides placement opportunities to the students by inviting corporates and consultants.The Placement Cell arranges and coordinates various programmes that aim in moulding the students on their abilities and aptitudes, strengths and weaknesses, fine tune presentation techniques and network with the BMC Alumni so as to meet the industry expectations in career building.
The students are given a clear picture about the Job market and job opportunities in various sectors. The placement maintains an up-to-date database and job profile, recruitment pattern of the companies and thus helps each student to analyze and prepare to meet the industry expectations. In addition, efforts are made to create a sense of dignity, courage and confidence in the minds of students which help them in improving their personality.
Every year our college conducts on-campus placement drives and also send students for off-campus drives. Reputed companies like Sutherland Global Services, Alcance Technologies, CSS Corp, Concentrix, ICICI Bank Ltd, IQ Back Office, Capgemini etc conducts placement drive in campus. Students register into TCS placement via online and gets through several tests and assignments conducted by TCS and are placed every year. Students actively participate in off-campus drives too conducted by Flextronics, Infosys, L&T, Tech-Mahindra etc. and are placed in such reputed organizations. Our college has signed an MOU with Don-Bosco Vazhikatti-Tech-Mahindra group for free placement training and placement.
