Bhaktavatsalam Memorial college for women has established a Entrepreneurship Development Cell on 4th February, 2012 to emerge as a Centre of Excellence in the field of Entrepreneurship Promotion and to act as a catalyst in transforming employable skills to entrepreneurial communities by translating latent ideas into viable enterprises”.

 Objectives

  • To inspire the prospective entrepreneurs and to develop entrepreneurship education, training and research through competitive, self-motivated and self-driven practices.
  • To promote knowledge based and technology-driven start-ups by harnessing young minds and their innovation potential in an academic environment.

Activities

  • Create awareness on Entrepreneurship among the students through training programmes.
  • Organise Seminars, Guest Lectures, Workshops, ED Bazaar and Training Programmes to enhance entrepreneurial skills among students.
  • To identify and motivate budding entrepreneurs
  • To facilitate budding entrepreneurs by providing information on entrepreneurial opportunities

  • Incubation programs are sponsored by ARCOMM and OMS Infotech. Their goal is to help create and grow young entrepreneurs by providing them with necessary support and technical services.
