Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture ceremony of the student council was held on 14th August 2019 at 10.30a.m. in the Auditorium. The programme commenced with an invocation. Dr. C.N. Eswari, Principal welcomed the gathering. The presidential Address was given by Dr. S.P. Rajagopalan, Secretary. The Chief Guest Dr. K. Minraj, Dean, CDC, University of Madras motivated the newly elected council members and specified the role of students in developing the country. The president of student council Ms. M. Nazeema along with other council members assumed their office and took oath solemnly. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. R. Indira, Co – ordinator, Student council.

Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony of Student Council was held on Thursday, 9th August, 2018. The chief guest of the day was Dr.Sumathi Eswaran, Dean, Dept of Computer Science & IT Dr.MGR University, Chennai. The programme began with an Invocation song by Ms.Samyuktha, II B.Sc Computer Science followed by lig hting of traditional lamp by Dignitaries and welcome address by Dr.C.N.Eswari, Principal of the college. The Presidential address was given by Dr.S.P.Rajagopolan, Secretary, highlighting the duties and responsibilities of office bearers of Student council. The council members were conferred upon with badges and have taken pledge to assume their office. Mrs.R.Indira, Mentor, Students Affairs proposed the vote of thanks.
STUDENT COUNCIL VALEDICTORY (2018-2019)
The Student Union Council had its valedictory on March 26, 2019. The Chief Guest, Dr. Jyothi Venkateshwaran, Joint Director-Planning & Development addressed the students on the technological advancements and the impact of social media on students. Principal, Dr. C.N.Eswari delivered the welcome address. Dr. S.P. Rajagopalan, felicitated the Chief Guest. Ms. P. Sanju, President,Student Council presented the Activity Report for the year 2018-2019.Prof. Indira, Mentor- Student Affairs & Head, UG Dept of Business Administration & PG Dept of HRM proposed the vote of thanks.
