Our revered Vice-Chairman, Dr. K. Maragathamani, who is a visionary of women empowerment, has instituted an Annual Award “Smt. K. Padmavathy Outstanding Women Achievers Award” in the year 2013, in memory of her beloved mother, Smt. K. Padmavathy, to honour outstanding women who have contributed yeomen, selfless service to the needs of the society and in particular, under-privileged women and children. IN the year 2019, our Management has unanimously selected Mrs. Sowmya Ramasubramaniam, secretary of Adyar Exnora Women’s Guild & Trustee of Darshini Charitable Organization. Darshini is a charitable trust run by Adyar Exnora Women’s Guild for the welfare and rehabilitation of the visually challenged college students of Chennai, India. Darshini has been serving the visually challenged students for the last 18 years and its main focus has been Education and Health Care.
